Killer Sudoku

Frequently asked questions

What is Killer Sudoku?

Killer Sudoku is a sudoku game published by Omni-Lord. Every row, column, and 3 by 3 box holds the digits 1 to 9, and the cells are grouped into cages: the digits in a cage add up to the small number in its corner, and no digit repeats inside a cage. No digits are given to start from; the cage totals are the clues.

How do the three levels differ?

Easy deals 42 small cages, about two squares each, so each sum narrows its cage quickly. Medium deals 26 to 32 cages and Hard 23 to 30, with larger cages whose sums fit more combinations, so the cage help and the cross-checks against rows, columns, and boxes do more of the work.

Does Killer Sudoku need an account or a connection?

No. There are no accounts, and the game is fully playable offline. Your statistics are stored only on your device, and an unfinished board is never saved.

When does the new puzzle arrive?

Each level (Easy, Medium, Hard) has its own daily puzzle, and a new one starts at your local midnight. You can also deal the next puzzle of a level at any time.

What does the hint do?

The hint fills in one square with the correct digit. Hints are free and unlimited, with no wait and no ad.

What is the cage help sheet?

Tap Cage help to see every combination that can still make the selected cage's total. Combinations ruled out by the digits around the cage are crossed out.
